Our priorities are simple: deliver safe, reliable and effective terminal operations, maintenance and engineering services for our customers wherever we operate.About the Role The Shift Supervisor reports to the Site Manager - Operations in managing and controlling the safe and efficient operations of the Terminal. Key responsibilities include supervision and direction of a team of operations staff to ensure that safe and reliable operations are maintained, the needs of customers are met in a timely manner with due regard to HSSE, reliability, efficiency, cost, stakeholder relationships, product stewardship & customer service.Key responsibilities and accountabilities for this role includes:Lead, supervise and coordinate a team of operational staff and contractors to ensure they are working efficiently and delivering maximum value.As a member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) act as on-scene commander and/or other such designated roles.Be a practical "hands-on" leader to deliver efficient and value-add outcomes.Provide strong Safety Leadership and be visible in the field, consistently modelling the right behaviours.Understand the safety barriers for the location and be able to provide recommendations that they are fully operational and maintained effectively.Coordinate with specialists to manage customer product stock and quality.Ensure safe conduct of maintenance activities.Cultivate relationships with partners, stakeholders, and customers.Ensure adherence to procedures for product movement by pipeline or tankships.Demonstrate flexibility and initiative to support terminal operations.Capable of performing various operational roles as needed, including DCS Operator and Control of Work Issuing authority.About YouA leader who is comfortable inspiring and motivating both direct and indirect reports, you will have current operational experience and have proficient hands on experience in shipping, pipeline transfers, marine bunkering, tank farm operations, and gantry facilities.A great communicator who is comfortable to engage across the terminal you have good IT proficiency across email, word and excel. Your ability to interpret policies and apply operational, HSSEQ policies, procedures, and engineering drawings would be highly regarded.If you have previous experience in working in high-risk environments (oil & gas, mining, etc.) this is a big bonus, as safety is always our number one priority.
