About the CompanyFormed in 2015, ATOM was created between BP - one of the largest oil & gas companies in the world - and UGL - a leading provider of end-to-end outsourced engineering, asset management, and maintenance services in Australia.ATOM maintains and operates 20 bulk fuel terminals across Australia, specialising in managing all aspects of terminal activities for our customers ranging from the storage and handling of bulk liquid fuels to maintenance and engineering services.Our priorities are simple: deliver safe, reliable, and effective terminal operations, maintenance and engineering services for our customers wherever we operate.About the RoleWorking closely with key stakeholders in engineering, operations and our clients, our Asset Manager oversees maintenance and asset integrity and assurance across our terminal network of up to 20 sites nationwide, ensuring facilities are effectively maintained and managed.Our Asset Manager sets and maintains inspections and test plans, ensuring record requirements are appropriate, and that systems, tools, and processes exist and are followed, works are delivered, support is given to any technical requirements, all while supporting operations through enabling ATOM’s preventative and mitigative HSSEQ barriers are effective.The Asset Manager is also responsible for ensuring assets perform reliably, are maintained to an adequate integrity level, respective to cost and productivity, and stakeholders and stakeholder expectations are managed and met.Our Asset Manager relies on and engages closely with ATOM’s delivery partners and contractors to support and execute maintenance in collaboration with ATOM operations, and in accordance with the approved maintenance plans, while minimizing business interruption.Undertaking interstate site visits and travel for 2-4 days at a time every 4-6 weeks (approx.) is an essential part of the role.About YouWith a background and discipline in engineering, you'll need extensive experience in asset management with demonstrated end-to-end experience in handling a portfolio of maintenance projects across a network of sites. Ideally you have worked in fuels businesses - if not, other transferable heavy industry is essential (ie. mining).You have been involved in medium to complex projects, with demonstrated experience in asset management. This could include roles in engineering consultancy, project management, and/or involvement in operations.It's important to have a strong safety and sustainability mindset, with working knowledge of Permit to Work, Job Safety Analysis, Hazard/Risk Assessment, and basic understanding of OH&S regulations.You will be a self-starter, resilient, can work well autonomously as well as collaboratively, and have a relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering (eg.
