We have a highly engaged workforce with 93% of employees proud to work at ATOM, based on our 2021 People Engagement Survey. Our priorities are simple: deliver safe, reliable, and effective terminal operations, maintenance and engineering services for our customers wherever we operate. About the Role Our Shift Supervisor assists in managing and controlling the overall safe and efficient running of the terminal.  Day to day you can expect to supervise ATOM employees and contractors, assist with overseeing site visitors, ensuring HSSE and terminal operating rules and regulations are being followed, ensuring customer needs are being met, monitoring and maintaining site integrity through risk/hazard identification, and implementing risk control measures.  You will be responsible for the operation of the site control system, safely controlling non routine work utilising the ATOM control of work system. There is also administration, reporting, and scheduling involved, including maintaining policies & procedures and updating work instructions.  You will work within and help maintain a strong team environment to achieve the safe and efficient daily operations of the terminal. About You Being a go-getter and a good communicator with a strong team-playing attitude is essential, as is a willingness to learn new things. You will need great time management skills and solid organisational skills, as well as a keen eye for continuous improvement. Having some people management experience is desirable, as this role will supervise other employees on shift. Having a solid understanding of various MS software programs is desirable, as is previous experience in working in high-risk environments, in particular bulk fuel terminal or refinery operations, as safety is always our number one priority.  Flexible availability is important given the operational needs of our terminals span across all seven days of the week, so being able to work a shift roster is essential.
