Our priorities are simple: deliver safe, reliable, and effective terminal operations, maintenance and engineering services for our customers wherever we operate.About the Role Our Safety Coordinator is responsible for managing the safety of work conducted by our maintenance & project delivery partner and to assist the Site Managers to verify the effectiveness of safety barriers. This includes input into the development of maintenance and project plans, carrying out the ATOM permit to work processes, ensuring all aspects of work procedures are in place before work commences and works are safely managed and completed. The position requires a strong focus on safety leadership, and solid modelling and recognition of positive safety behaviours to help drive a strong and consistent safety culture on site.The Safety Coordinator ensures that safe and reliable operations are maintained, and the needs of customers are met in a timely manner with due regard to safety, efficiency, and cost. About You You will be an effective communicator who is able to influence stakeholders and manage a diverse range of relationships. A demonstrated ability to interpret and apply operational & HSEQ policies and procedures as well as engineering drawings is essential along experience controlling maintenance works in a high-risk environment. Oil & Gas or Mining backgrounds would be preferable. A flexible degree of availability is important, and you will be expected to cover roles across the terminal from time to time.
