We have a highly engaged workforce with 93% of employees proud to work at ATOM, based on our 2021 People Engagement Survey.Our priorities are simple: deliver safe, reliable, and effective terminal operations, maintenance and engineering services for our customers wherever we operate.About the RoleWorking closely with operations, service providers and key customers our Project Engineer provides engineering and project management expertise, input, review and advice into projects and key maintenance activities for our terminal sites across Australia.  They will be involved from early development and will effectively manage project deliverables through to closeout while maintaining integrity of the plant and equipment while minimizing business interruption.Our Project Engineer reviews and challenges designs, cost, schedule, scope, engineering work, and execution plans to identify cost reduction and continuous improvement opportunities.  They will also participate in weekly project progress meetings, monitor and report on project delivery (eg. cost, schedule & scope) as well as Gate Review and Approval, FAT/SAT, construction review, commissioning sign-off, QA/QC checks and validation of outcomes against business requirements.  Performing site visits (including interstate locations, predominantly east coast) will be part of the role.About YouPreferably you will have 5+ years Project Engineering experience where you have been heavily involved in medium to complex projects.  This may also include engineering consultancy work, project management, supervisory roles, and/or involvement in operations. Strong safety and sustainability mindset with working knowledge of Permit to Work, Job Safety Analysis, Hazard/Risk Assessment, and basic understanding of OH&S regulations is required.Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering (eg.
