We have a highly engaged workforce with 93% of employees proud to work at ATOM, based on our 2021 People Engagement Survey.Our priorities are simple: deliver safe, reliable, and effective terminal operations, maintenance and engineering services for our customers wherever we operate.About the RoleWorking either from our Head Office in Melbourne or our Brisbane terminals, our Maintenance Engineer utilises well-developed engineering skills and knowledge to support maintenance management needs and support key maintenance project delivery on site, as well as supporting development of defensible maintenance and capital budgets.Our Maintenance Engineer will maximise efficient delivery of ATOM services through executing work, developing client trust, and delivering successful outcomes, all the while undertaking strong stakeholder management via best practice.Our Maintenance Engineer reviews and challenges designs, cost, schedule, scope, and execution plans, while identifying cost reduction and continuous improvement opportunities.  They also participate in weekly project progress meetings, monitoring and reporting on project delivery (cost, schedule & scope) as well as Gate Review and Approval, FAT/SAT, construction review, commissioning sign-off, QA/QC checks and outcome validation against business requirements. Undertaking site visits (including interstate locations, predominantly west coast) will be part of the role, so you must be comfortable with some travel.About YouLooking for between 2-7 years experience (grad to mid-tier) in professional engineering, project management and execution, with demonstrated project management and delivery from within consulting fields or site-based construction supervisory roles.A strong safety and sustainability mindset is essential, with working knowledge of Permit to Work, Job Safety Analysis, Hazard/Risk Assessment, and an understanding of OH&S regulations. Experience in field/on-site engineering roles is a big plus.Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering (eg.
